Not For Sale welcomes a new group of passionate abolitionists to the team this week.

The seven ambitious young adults are undertaking the fellowship program at the organization’s headquarters in Half Moon Bay, and will dedicate the next six months of their lives to helping end modern slavery across the globe.

This group of highly qualified fellows hails from all over North America, and their backgrounds include non-profit management, public relations, and environmental science. Two of the fellows recently returned from volunteering overseas in Mexico and Nepal.

During their time at Not For Sale, the fellows will contribute to numerous projects and will gain dynamic hands-on leadership experience. Not For Sale would like to warmly welcome the fellows to the team and looks forward to scaling its efforts to stop human trafficking and to create new futures for survivors worldwide.

Speaking about the new group of fellows, Fellowship Director Keturah Scott said, “We are thrilled to welcome this group of highly qualified individuals to the fifth session of fellowship program. Each one of them has valuable skills and experience to contribute to the team. They have already begun to demonstrate their passion, commitment, and creativity, which Not For Sale intends to harness. The next six months will require lots of hard work, innovation, and dedication, but we hope to empower this wonderful group to become leaders in the abolitionist movement who will help us to end slavery worldwide.

“We are excited to see how this group will help Not For Sale to continue and develop its mission to create tools that engage business, government, and grassroots in order to incubate and grow social enterprises to benefit enslaved and vulnerable communities.”
