Africa’s Moment

Born and raised in Soweto, Magogodi Makhene helps create Africa’s missing
middle-class through business innovation. She recently co-founded Zenzele Circle, an angel investment network linking sub-Sahara African start-ups with seed and growth capital and strategic relationships. She received the Reynolds Fellowship for Social Entrepreneurship at NYU and is now co-Chair of the Africa Social Enterprise Forum.
