Just stumbled into your blog. Regarding water…. even though there is so much shortage, we all tend to take the availability of water for granted. I guess, at an individual level we can take a number of little steps, which cumulatively will make some difference.

I just came home from an evening run in which I was longing for the moment where I get into my apt to quench my thirst with some ice cold water. Somewhere in my second glass it hit me that there are people in this world who are in a perpetual state of longing for a sip of clean water. Some individuals have been longing for that moment their whole lives. Yet, after a good 30 minute run I can’t seem to get to the faucet - a source of seemingly endless amounts of water - fast enough. I admit that I take the blessing of clean water for granted. The more I learn, the more I realize I take a lot for granted…may we all work together to make clean water not a luxury for some of us to abuse but a right for ALL people of the world to enjoy.

Got something to say?
